Colin Ferenbach, Managing Director, is a Portfolio Manager at Tocqueville Asset Management L.P. Mr. Ferenbach joined Tocqueville in 2002 and currently manages portfolios for private clients and affiliates. Prior to joining Tocqueville, he was a founder and principal of Haven Capital Management. In 1984 he started The Haven Fund, which subsequently merged with Tocqueville's fund group in 2002 as the Alexis Fund, and later merged into the Tocqueville Fund. He was also a founder of Kleinwort, Benson, McCowan, the group that spun out the Investment Management Services division of Goldman, Sachs in 1977. He began his career at Goldman, Sachs & Co., where he rose to Vice President in Security Sales and subsequently of Investment Management Services. He earned a B.A. in History from Yale University and was a captain in the U.S. Air Force.
