Heather J. Perlmutter, Managing Director, is a Portfolio Manager at Tocqueville Asset Management L.P. Ms. Perlmutter joined Tocqueville in 2008 and is a member of the fixed-income team. Prior to joining Tocqueville, Ms. Perlmutter spent nearly sixteen years as a Portfolio Manager at Bear Stearns Asset Management Inc. (BSAM). As a member of the Specialized Investment Management Group at BSAM, she was responsible for the management of both taxable and tax-exempt fixed-income portfolios. Prior to her experience at BSAM, Ms. Perlmutter spent three years at Bear, Stearns & Co. on the fixed-income trading floor as a Sales Associate in the Corporate Coverage Group, before which she was on the fixed-income trading floor at Morgan Stanley in the same capacity. Ms. Perlmutter earned a B.A. in Communication from Rutgers University in 1986.
