Robert J. Kramer is the Chief Operating Officer at Tocqueville Asset Management L.P.  Prior to joining Tocqueville in 2005, Mr. Kramer founded Adirondack Capital Partners Inc., which specialized in providing investment banking services for small to medium sized corporate clients, from 2000 to 2005.  He founded Penny Lane Partners prior to Adirondack Capital Management, a venture capital fund and SBIC, and served as Senior Managing Director from 1996 to 2005, while also working at Trautman Kramer and Co., Inc., until 1999.  Trautman Kramer and Co., Inc., was started in 1992 by Mr. Kramer.  Prior to Trautman Kramer and Co., Mr. Kramer was the Partner of Sterling Grace and Co. from 1985 to 1992. He also worked at Prescott Ball and Turben from 1978 to 1985 and began his career with Merrill Lynch in 1977. Recently, Mr. Kramer has served on multiple corporate boards, including WSN Corporation in San Francisco, CA.  He attended Temple University and New York University.
