Wealth Management Process

Since 1985, Tocqueville Asset Management’s six-step wealth management process has helped families and individuals achieve their long-term financial objectives, even in challenging economic and market environments. 

1. Work closely with clients and their accountant and other professional advisors to specify appropriate financial goals
    
2. Create a strategic asset allocation that reflects the client's current, intermediate and long-term investment objectives
    
3. Construct customized equity and fixed-income portfolios; where appropriate, select specialty funds to enhance total portfolio diversification
    
4. Monitor and manage the portfolio on a daily basis
    
5. Provide client with transparent, comprehensible reports quarterly or more frequently 
    
6. Periodically reevaluate the client’s goals and risk tolerance and fine-tune the asset allocation — and always be available to respond to a client’s questions or market concerns
